The Energy Never Dies;

At least according to Black Eyed Peas that is. They recently released a huge CD. And when I say huge, I mean HUGE. It's 2 discs, including new tracks, and some old ones that have been revved up to speed with the rest of the new. The CD as a whole is pretty good, but my favourite tracks are the ones where they ran with that techno/house sound. Pretty much all of my favourites sound like the BEP had sex with some currently awesome artists in the genre and the songs are the product. A lot of Daft Punk and Boys Noize liek sound can be heard. But For now I'll talk about their latest single, I Gotta Feeling.

It definitely has that David Guetta sound going on in my mind. And I totally love that! Bonus points if you can guess what song of his it reminds me of~ But yeah, it's kind of a little minimal at points for my tastes, but that way it doesn't get boring as fast. Keeps me craving the faster parts. And I must say I'm a little let down by the addition of, "Mazal tov" to the lyrics. But for their efforts, I'll forgive them.

Eat this up;

For some crazy reason, this particular artist is getting no radio play anywhere in the USA or Canada. What the heck man!? She has an amazing album filled with hip-hop inspired dance tracks, amazing vocals, and true talent. This girl I'm talking about is BoA. I was pleased to see the So You Think You Can Dance contestant Asuka perform her Solo to BoA's song "Did Ya", but that's about all I've seen of her in the media over here. Which completely blows my mind as she has true talent unlike a lot of performers do these days. She can sing just as good as on her recordings live, NOT LIP SYNCINCING, and bust better dance moves than Britney, Christina, and all those girls combined.

So here I leave you with my favourite song from her album, after much searching for a video that didn't have embedding blocked. I have to say after watching both versions of the video for the song, one produced by a Korean producer and the other American. I'm left wondering what the hell was the American producer thinking? He had to have been out to ruin her career with his joke of a video. If you want to see either of the real music video you'll have to YouTube it yourself because this one's just a fan mash up of the Korean producer's and American producer's videos.

For now, enjoy some of BoA's hot hip-hop dance moves and go listen to her CD. Now.
